Hi! Welcome to Shot by Sher!
I am Sheridan Margaret Covington-Jones. This is a unique space to experience my multitude of artistic expressions and book any of my creative services. I'm a Writer, Photographer, Filmmaker, and Entrepreneur. My heart is the happiest when I'm traveling and collecting experiences.
I've lived in/visited 18 State, (I hope to visit Chicago in the summer - snow is pretty for pictures and I need optimal sunlight). I've been to 3 Countries (if you count my layover with time to walk outside the airport and smell the fresh air in Vancouver, Canada - that makes 4). I lived in Hong Kong for 3 months when I was in college, traveled to South Australia in January of 2020, and the Dominican Republic in 2021. As a wine enthusiast, my wanderlust will probably lead me to travel Germany in the near future, just to drink a chilled glass of riesling. As a visual artist I love to draw and paint in my free time, drawing was my first love. I'm also a full time plant momma, check out my blog and online store!
I'm a Southern Belle born and raised in Columbia, SC currently living in Los Angeles, CA. I graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2015 with a B.F.A in Dramatic Writing and minor in Film and Television.
My photography style is heavily influenced by the vibrance of hyperrealism in the way that it commands the viewer's attention -- my style is honest and vulnerable with my sharp eye for composition and instinct for anticipating the "moment." The delight of catching that magical moment in a natural lighting environment is what inspires me the most.
I hopes my site will give you an idea and sense of who I am as a Creative and the artistic projects and content I'm most passionate about and inspired to create.
